Salem State University School of Graduate Studies is seeking exceptional candidates for the position of Assistant Dean of the School of Graduate Studies. This position reports to the Dean of the School of Graduate Studies (SGS) and works closely with the leadership team of SGS and other offices across campus to develop and support critical strategic direction, long-term planning, and operational oversight for the School of Graduate Studies. The position collaborates with the offices of Graduate Admissions, Registrar, Office of Inclusive Excellence, Financial Aid/Scholarships, Strategic Planning, Student Support Services (Center for Academic Excellence), Student Navigation Center, ITS, Research Offices, and the graduate program coordinators of the various graduate programs. This person will oversee the development and implementation of business analytics to improve delivery of services to graduate students and support for graduate programs. An essential task for this position is collaboration with appropriate offices to refine data management and data utilization for program review and planning. The Assistant Dean will support the Dean in developing academic and administrative policies.

Master's degree from an accredited institution
3 plus years experience working within a higher education setting
3 plus years experience in data management or analytics
Experience and proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with strategic planning
Experience with data visulization tools
Experience using Salesforce and PeopleSoft
