The Academy of the Holy Cross is accepting resumes for a Tuition Accounts and Payroll Coordinator.

The Tuition Accounts and Payroll Coordinator is responsible for the accurate and timely collection and reconciliation of all student tuition accounts and the semimonthly processing of payroll. The Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the confidentiality of records for both families and employees.
TUITION ACCOUNTS COORDINATOR:
Coordinate with Admissions and Registrar to monitor student contracts for new and returning students and create accounts in the School's financial systems including tuition, fees, and financial aid.
Monitor student billing accounts to ensure timely payments and respond to family requests for changes in payment timing and amounts
Work with families regarding payment plans and past due tuition payments
Update the Business Manager and President when accounts are seriously past due. Coordinate the contract policy on "Holds" with the Registrar
Prepare monthly reconciliations on all tuition accounts, including financial aid
Process payroll semi-monthly with third party payroll processor
Maintain all payroll files and reports for past and present employees
Prepare and maintain various payroll spreadsheets for reconciliation purposes and provide statistical information to the administration when necessary
Enter and reconcile payroll data for retirement accounts
Maintain employee leave balances
Degree in Accounting, Business or related field preferred
3-5 years bookkeeping/accounting experience
Experience with database management
Previous payroll experience preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Excel 2010 and Word 2010
Strong organizational and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
Excellent communication and customer service skills; fostering excellent parent relations while maintaining the highest standard of ethics and accountability
Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and work independently, as well as part of a team, with minimal supervision
Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
Must be able to do extensive data entry
Must be able to analyze financial information
Must be able to make decisions based on sound professional judgment
Must be able to identify problems and provide effective solutions
Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information

The college preparatory program reflects a holistic approach to education by fostering the intellectual, physical and moral development of the students.
