Manages (3) Assistant Director of Business Operations positions. Performs all essential Accounts Payable-related duties for various Sports and interdepartmental Athletics units. Assists Sr. Associate AD/CFO and Assistant AD with ad hoc projects, as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB DUTIES:
25% - Essential - Accounts Payable Duties: Oversee all Accounts Payable-related duties for various sports and interdepartmental Athletics units, including: approval of purchase requisitions, issuance of purchase orders, and invoice processing.
25% - Essential - Accounting Duties: Responsible for accounting duties for various sports and interdepartmental Athletics units, including but not limited to: procurement card approval and reconciliation, personal employee reimbursements, per diem card loads, and journal entries.
25% - Essential - Clemson Athletics Properties: Serve as primary Business Operations contact for Clemson¿s internal Corporate Sponsorship and Multimedia Rights partner Duties include collection of cash/checks, preparation of daily vouchers, and management of Cash/Check log.
15% - Essential - Financial Reporting: Assist in preparation of annual Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act (EADA) report and annual NCAA financial submissions following reconciliation with Agreed Upon Procedures Report.
10% - Essential - Business Operations: Provide managerial oversight of (3) Assistant Director of Business Operations positions that are responsible for Accounts Payable duties for various sports and interdepartmental Athletics units. Assisting with revamping department policies, compiling market data to assist with decisions, and other projects to improve the efficiency of the Business Office.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education - 1st Bachelor's Degree - Experience in Intercollegiate Athletics and/or Accounting-related field Work Exp 1-3+ years
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Education - 1st Master's Degree - Accounting, Finance, or Sports Management Work Exp 3-5+ years experience in the field of Intercollegiate Athletics and/or Accounting-related field
RESPONSIBILITIES:
JOB KNOWLEDGE Fundamental Job Knowledge - Fundamental working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures and ability to apply in varied situations
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Supervises Work of Others - Supervises work of others and may offer recommendations for hiring, termination and pay adjustments but does not have responsibility for making these decisions.
BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES Provides Budget Input - Provides input into the budgeting process, and oversees fund allocation.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
