We have an unexpected position in our Body Imaging (Abdominal Imaging) fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center (MDACC) and looking for an energetic and enthusiastic candidate.
The Diagnostic Radiology Body Imaging Fellowship is a 12-month training program. The program offers extensive experience in cross-sectional imaging that includes CT, MRI, US and PET/CT imaging with advanced MRI training in prostate, rectal, gynecologic and liver cancers. Fellows have the opportunity to perform US guided biopsy procedures. Generous 3 months of elective time can be done at different imaging departments at MDACC (chest, IR, neuro or MSK) or at affiliated nononcologic centers (ER in a trauma level-1 hospital). Fellows are provided 20% academic time and actively participate in several organ-focused multidisciplinary tumor board conferences.
The Department of Abdominal Radiology provides a busy service with hundreds of scans every day and is equipped with State of the art equipment including:
Comprehensive Abdominal Imaging and Cancer Imaging training with emphasis on MRI, PET/CT, CT, Ultrasound, and with opportunity to do up to 3 electives in MSK, Neuro, Thoracic and IR, and Women’s Imaging. Allows the fellows to ‘customize’ their experience for a career in academics or private practice.
