The Mid-American Conference is accepting applications and nominations for the position of Director of Communications. The individual selected will assist in the operation of the Conference’s comprehensive media relations program for 22 sports. This position reports to the Associate Commissioner/Communications. Founded in 1946, the Mid-American Conference is an NCAA Division I, 12-member conference that sponsors 22 championships and is one of ten members of the Football Bowl Subdivison (FBS). The Conference office is based in Cleveland, Ohio. Responsibilities •Serve as the primary communications contact for volleyball, wrestling, women’s swimming & diving, men’s & women’s tennis. •Assist with media services for the MAC Football, Basketball, Softball and Baseball Championships.
