This job involves both supervisory and coordinating work as a member of the Murray State Athletics Ticket Office to ensure the execution of both ticket operations and ticket sales.
Primary Duties
Provide excellent customer service all patrons both over the phone and in person.
Lead and facilitate all aspects of the women’s basketball season and single game ticket sales campaign: including but not limited to outbound sales strategies, coordination of marketing efforts both internal and external, establishing and communicating with season ticket holders as needed.
Preparation and management of all women’s basketball pass lists in coordination with the coaching staff and compliance office.
Lead all ticketing logistics and operations for all women’s basketball home games.
Assist with the sales of single game, mini-plan, group and season tickets for football and men’s basketball via phone and walk-up sales.
Assist with event setup, game-day operation, and event reconciliation.
Assist with the creating invoices and fulfilling mailings for football and basketball tickets.
Process mail daily, including receiving and tracking payments in Archtics.
Oversight and execution of all payment plans and payroll deductions.
Processing daily deposits, Interaccount transfers and other payment documents through both the Banner system and Ticketmaster system.
Assist with management of customer accounts in the Ticketmaster system.
Creating and maintaining a ticket office record retention system in coordination with the athletic department business office.
Oversight and execution of all sponsorship invoicing and payment tracking in coordination with the Associate AD for Resources and Operations.
Preparation of monthly donation reports for coaches and administrators.
Assist with various ticket office projects, as well as providing additional administrative assistance as needed.
Assist with the hiring, training, supervising and scheduling of game day ticket staff.
Comply with all NCAA, Ohio Valley Conference and Murray State University rules, regulations and policies.
Ability to works nights and weekends -including all home football and basketball games.
Position will act in the absence of the Assistant AD for Revenue Generation & Ticket Operations.

Bachelor’s Degree required.
One year of experience in collegiate athletics, preferably in the ticketing area.
Experience in customer service or sales.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with the public in a courteous, friendly manner in person and on phone.
Keyboarding, filing, etc.
Knowledge of Ticketmaster/Archtics ticket software preferred.
Ability to stand for long periods of time on game days.
