As Financial Systems Analyst, you will play an integral role as part of a dedicated team, providing technical leadership in support of Accounting & Finance, and testing of processes.

Routine NetSuite Responsibilities:
Conduct complex system and parallel testing, reconciliation, and monitoring. Assist in project evaluation efforts and monitor system changes to ensure proper coordination among all customer organizations.
Assist in the planning and development of assessment criteria and conditions for the testing phases. Coordinate with programming staff to establish test schedules, test input/output control, and implementation schedules.
Work with IT on ongoing application maintenance, upgrades, development, testing and implementation of application enhancements.
Support Accounting and Finance with:
Monthly Close, Annual Close, and Audit, including financial reporting and Management Reporting Process.
Resolve system errors.
Implementation of revenue recognition rules within NetSuite.
Testing, Transitioning, and Integration of Systems/Processes:
Support onboarding of new acquisitions.
Facilitate business and systems analysis discussions and translate findings into clearly defined business requirements.
Assists in testing from a functional standpoint to ensure integrity of new systems and the effects changes have on production. Review system requirements and system software performance during both the developmental and operational phases.
Participate in system integration testing and user acceptance testing with the business users to ensure a high-quality delivery.
Assist in the planning and development of assessment criteria and conditions for the testing phases.
Coordinate with IT colleagues, consultants, vendors, and user groups in resolving issues and implementing changes.
Assist with data validation across NetSuite and other systems as needed.
Perform and participate in data migration and reconciliation discussions.
Develop validation test plans, user and system procedures and training materials for customizations, upgrades and patches.
Document requirements, test cases, test results and create user guides.
Reporting and Business Needs:
Manage the impact of transaction changes and their effects across all business segments and locations involved.
Utilize helpdesk to resolve, collaborate and escalate incidents, problems, and requests
Analyze and implement recommendations for enhancements, improvements, and changes. Conduct "root cause" investigations and propose/implement solutions.
Work collaboratively with functional areas (e.g. accounting, sales, marketing, customer service, product managers) to assist with enhancing business processes, internal controls and reporting.
Assist users with their need to pull data from NetSuite ERP.
Partner with key super users to develop and evolve the applications while ensuring a stable, productive environment.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or information systems related field.
5-8 years of experience working with major ERP application(s), specifically financials and procurement.
Strong understanding of lead-to-cash and record-to-report processes and end-to-end architectures.
In-depth understanding of NetSuite ERP user functionality, how transactions are processed in NetSuite ERP, report generation and month-end closing procedures and processes.
Knowledge and understanding of revenue recognition (ASC 606), including understanding of the leading practices and ability to facilitate clients' most complex business requirements.
Experience designing integrations with upstream (billing, invoicing) and downstream ERP (GL) applications.
Knowledge of GAAP, with knowledge of non-profit accounting a plus.
Strong business process knowledge preferred, specifically Procure to Pay, Invoice to Cash and Record to Report, Revenue Recognition/Arrangements.
In-depth knowledge of business requirements, design, development and process tools, methods, and best practices.
Understanding of accounting concepts as typically applied and implemented in ERP systems.
Experience with software end-to-end testing.
Sound working knowledge of standard business hardware and software including Microsoft Suite of products.
Ability to collaborate within a matrix organization and influence others who are not direct reports.
