The Vendor Compliance Specialist II is responsible for the coordination, implementation, reporting, support, and on-going maintenance of vendor setup and management as well as overseeing company s third-party vendor compliance platform(s). Exhibits strong commitment to the service needs of the internal and external customer. Represents the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Essential Job Functions:
Conducts research, investigates workflows, business procedures, consults with internal business units and external partners, and recommends changes to ensure that vendor compliance standards and regulations are being met.
Communicates with, and provides guidance and assistance to, Regional Vice Presidents, Area Vice Presidents, Regional Managers, and Property Managers about vendor credentialing platform(s) property and user set up, as well as vendor accounts and vendor status changes.
Tracks and updates expiration and evaluation changes, daily.
Assists with vendor credentialing platform system integration, implementation, and ongoing management, as needed.
Oversees implementation of vendor credentialing platform(s) standards on new acquisitions ensuring all new properties have adequate vendor selections for operational efficiency. Oversees decommissioning of vendor credentialing platform(s) on dispositions, when needed.
Assists in developing policies for the policy manual related to vendor setup and vendor compliance.
Responsible for managing Vendor Compliance/Vendor Service help desk ticket queue, daily.
Prepares monthly and quarterly reports and audits for internal business units, per schedule as well as, as requested.
Assists in the onboarding and renewal of high-profile and/or national vendors; works with the responsible party, vendor credentialing platform team, and the vendor/vendor s insurance agent to reach approval as quickly as possible.
Responsible for identifying vendor compliance risks and recommending plans to monitor and address risks related to vendors.

Work Schedule:8am-5pm, Monday-Friday, or as needed to meet business needs.

This position requires close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading.
The ability and means to travel locally, overnight, in specific regions or states via automobile and airplane may be required.
