Responsible for the implementation of DRC Executive Engagement programs – Board of Advisors, Executive Women’s Roundtable, and Welcoming New Executives. This individual will assist the DRC by engaging executives across the region in programs which support leadership development and by providing resources to help executives grow in their knowledge of key issues facing the business community and allow them to connect with one another.
Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The duties and responsibilities include the following, though other duties may be assigned.
Manages the DRC’s Executive Engagement programs including Board of Advisors, Executive Women’s Roundtable, and Welcoming New Executives. Responsibilities include organization for annual program of work; development of events and volunteer opportunities; program membership recruitment and retention; oversight of marketing the programs both to prospective members and community at large; and oversight of advisory council if applicable to program.
Manages the coordination of program events, working with both volunteers and the DRC Events team. Coordination of logistics includes venue locations, food and beverage needs, sponsorships, speaker confirmations, agenda, set-up and supply needs, marketing and registration process.
Actively interacts with advisory councils and committees to develop and implement programs of work; ensure resources are being provided when needed; and make certain program content aligns with DRC goals and objectives. Programs, meetings, events and conference calls may occur before and after-hours.
Manages the new member recruiting and onboarding processes for each program.
Manages the advisory council and committee recruiting process for each program.
Meets with, surveys, and keeps open communication with volunteers and businesses involved in programs. Acts as facilitator when problems arise, either with program members or volunteers, with the ability to resolve situations effectively and efficiently.
Communicates with various DRC team members about activities of the programs. Closely works with Membership and Revenue Growth team to recruit non-member companies active in executive engagement programs to become DRC members. Provides staff support for reports given to the DRC’s Board of Directors.
Utilizes the DRC’s database to track data for the programs.
Oversees and manages budget for the programs. Provides reports to volunteers and SVP of Member Engagement about status.
Assists with the creation of program materials, marketing materials and updating of the program's website.
Responsible for marketing Executive Engagement programs and events through website, e-newsletters, social media outlets, etc. Both internal and external outlets utilized.
Represents the DRC at various events.

Supervisory Responsibilities: n/a
Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Non-profit/chamber membership environment experience a plus
