The Corporate FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) – Cash Flow and Long term planning organization’s vision is to become the Best-in-Class cash flow and long term forecasting process design, analytics and operations team, delivering the most accurate and predictable forecast with meaningful insights, fully integrated and automated, enabling timely strategic business decisions.
We consider economic and business trends, review past company performance, and attempt to anticipate obstacles and potential problems, all with an eye toward forecasting a company’s future financial results.
We are looking for a Master to join HP’s global cash flow and long-term planning team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating agile models to generate rapid analytics and planning support to be used for both short-term planning and long-term modeling which turn into presentations to the Executive Leadership team and ultimately the Board of Directors.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Ensures the accuracy and comprehensiveness of financial information to forecast short- and long-term P&L and cash flow
Establish strong Partnership with different functions (Treasury, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Tax, Supply Chain, FP&A, Business Untits, etc.) to build and develop, maintain and improve existing forecast tools and methodologies.
Provide business leaders guidance and influence strategic decision-making within a limited scope.
Proactively identify possible scenarios, risks and opportunities around business performance.
Ability to create what-if scenarios and develop models that take external factors as inputs.
Drive regular monthly and ad hoc analysis, trending and benchmarking.
Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement and cost reductions opportunities. Generate new ideas for ongoing improvement initiatives, projects and innovation.
Demonstrate thought leadership by continuously enhancing processes and creating efficiencies, as well as contributing to strategic infrastructure development.
Perform well under pressure as well as a deadline oriented environment.
Develop and drive solutions for problems or situations.
Develop and drive presentations for Board level presentations.
Drive better business partnering and insights, while growing FP&A leadership and interpersonal skills.
Lead pan Finance initiatives for Corp FP&A.

Experience and Education required:
Typically +5 years experience working in finance and/or accounting (relevant working experience in consulting firm is advantage).
Typically +3 years of supervisory and/or leading a project team experience.
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Math, Statistics or related field required (MBA or CFA strongly preferred) with history of outstanding academic achievement.
Excellent understanding of financial statements and cash flow forecasting techniques and knowledge of common business drivers.
Financial modeling to simulate financial scenarios.
Experience in financial statement and cash conversion cycle analysis.
Extensive background in data-driven analytics and ability to research and evaluate data to make informed decisions and solve problems.
Experience in developing, adjusting and working with complex financial models.
Experience in driving or actively participating in multi-function projects.
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint.
Experience in SAP, SAP/Hana and other database/visualization tools (BW, Access, Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage.
Familiar with the preparation of General Ledgers and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
