Responsibilities:

  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for software and hardware issues escalated from the Help Desk or others.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate support queue.
  • Report common issues to the Training Manager and/or IT Manager to facilitate long-term solutions.
  • Collaborate with team members to support and manage, enterprise applications, and back-end systems.
  • Works with members of key departments across the firm to design and configure the 3rd party applications to be deployed.
  • Makes recommendations regarding new software and/or changes to existing software based on feedback received from users.
  • Evaluate new software releases and recommend upgrades as deemed appropriate.
  • Obtaining, installing, testing, troubleshooting, and rolling-out software patches, upgrades, and new programs via industry-standard methods.
  • Provision, maintain, manage, and troubleshoot Smartphone and tablet devices.
  • Working knowledge or Windows Servers and server hardware.
  • Assist in administering and maintaining all aspects of the firm's phone system.
  • Create and maintain user accounts and groups in Active Directory and Exchange/Exchange Online.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation as it relates to system configuration, architecture, and services.
  • Assists the IT Department in planning and carrying out technical projects, including planning, implementing, testing, training, and deployment/rollout.
  • Provide backup support for audiovisual/video conference events as needed.
  • Other system administration and/or hardware related responsibilities, as requested.
  • Perform other related projects and assignments as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years related experience preferably in a legal or professional services environment.
  • General knowledge of standard law firm applications is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills required to interact professionally with clients, lawyers, paraprofessionals, other staff members, and outside vendors.
  • Ability to become familiar with and knowledgeable about all other technology applications used or implemented by the firm.
  • Highly disciplined, self-starter with the ability to multi-task and juggle competing priorities with an extreme level of detail, accuracy, confidentiality, diplomacy, and initiative.
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of a team, demonstrate a responsible work ethic, high level of professionalism, and sound judgment.
  • Must be willing to work extended hours, nights, and weekends as needed or assigned.
