Under moderate supervision, designs, develops, implements and maintains innovative and replicable programs/procedures supporting FedEx sales, senior leadership and customers creating value and effective strategies for FedEx. Requires the application of advanced specialized/technical skill sets relevant to the role and objective of the department. Works individually and leads teams with internal/external customer interaction. Leads review, analysis, interpretation of data/information creating innovative solutions. Presents solutions to management.
Position Summary: This position reports to the Manager of the Curriculum Management team and will support initiatives across Sales University. This team is responsible for developing, launching and maintaining a curriculum for Sales leaders and professionals. The person in this position works individually and leads peer(s) and cross functional teams with the design and development of FedEx Sales University education courseware and related solutions, including textbooks, online tutorials, job aids, lesson plans, etc. You will work both independently and as part of cross functional teams.
The ideal candidate will:
Work with Adobe Creative Cloud applications to develop learning content such as eLearning Levels, ILT materials, video, etc.
Collaborate, guide, and edit the writing of Subject Matter Experts.
Liaise/partner with vendors to ensure storyboards and instructional design treatments are accurately developed.
Complete curriculum design documentation, including project charter, needs assessment, course blueprints, and course outlines.
Update/revise existing courses.
Apply instructional design best practices.
Design courses for in-class as well as online delivery (synchronous and asynchronous delivery).
Respond to identified needs ofcustomers/stakeholders.
Develop custom courses/learning solutions for corporate Sales environments.
Create learning objectives and storyboards, implement instructional design and engagement strategies, and write/edit formative and summative assessment questions.
Work with standard curriculum templates.
Preferred skills include:
Advanced skills in instructional design for adult learners.
Well versed in instructional design theories/approaches with an ability to apply them to various educational products (textbooks, eLearning courses, job-aids, PowerPoint-based lessons, etc.) and modes of learning (classroom, virtual classroom, online, and blended).
Experience working with eLearning technologies i.e. Adobe Creative Cloud applications.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in business or a related field. Minimum of four (4) years experience in designing, maintaining, and/or implementation of solutions to complex business situations. Experience is specifically related to the department's specialty. a related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements. Advanced skills with business software, spreadsheet applications and/or graphics or web development. Ability to plan and work on multiple assignments concurrently. Ability to present solutions to leadership. Strong interpersonal skills. excellent written, oral and presentation skills.
