The Law School of the University of St.Gallen (HSG) is seeking a
Professor in Law and Management/Economics (open rank)
to start on 1 February 2020 or by arrangement with an ideal employment level of 100%. The concrete description of the chair and the field of work is determined depending on the successful candidate's profile.
We are looking for a qualified person in business law who, in addition to his or her research activities, will also be involved in the HSG Law & Economics program (an integrative combination study program at the interface of law and economics). You make an internationally visible contribution to academic debates and leading professional journals and are willing to cooperate on an interdisciplinary basis. You can teach in German and English. Preferably you have a connection to the Swiss legal system or are willing to familiarise yourself in depth with Swiss law. Relevant practical experience and excellent evaluations in teaching round off your profile.
The University of St.Gallen is an equal opportunity employer. We specifically encourage women and individuals with backgrounds not well represented among our current senior faculty to apply.
Interested candidates are requested to send their application, together with the usual documents (cover letter, CV, list of publications, teaching evaluations, description of the existing and future research and teaching profile on one A4 page) in electronic form by 9 August 2019 at the latest online via www.unisg.ch/professorships to the President of the University of St.Gallen, Professor Dr. Thomas Bieger.
