The Department of Management and Information Systems in the College of Business at Mississippi State University invites applications for a non-tenure-track Assistant or Associate Clinical Professor of Management. We seek an individual with significant teaching and/or industry experience in the field of management. Candidates should be willing to teach undergraduate Entrepreneurship courses as well as either Business Policy or Organizational Behavior/Human Resources depending on qualifications and interest. While teaching is the primary duty of a Clinical Professor, candidates are also expected to contribute to the department by conducting research and engaging service as their secondary duties.

Candidates for the positions must have a PhD in Management or a closely related field. ABD candidates will be considered, provided they complete their program before the August 2020 start date.
Candidates must demonstrate an ability for and commitment to quality teaching in Entrepreneurship and either Business Policy or Organizational Behavior/Human Resources.
A candidate’s research record in management journals will be considered. Candidates should be willing to conduct sufficient research, particularly in the Family Business area (the Department’s strategic focus), to maintain academic qualifications to teach.
Previous research in family business will be considered favorably but is not a requirement.
Professional and/or managerial experience will be considered favorably but is not a requirement.
