Woodlands Academy of the Sacred Heart is seeking and Admission Associate to work in the Office of Admission & Affordability. This is a full time, 12-month position, some evenings and weekends required. The Admission Associate works as part of a team in a busy and evolving admissions office. This position is a mix of administrative/office support and customer service. The Admission Associate will report to the Director of Admission and Affordability and will join a highly collaborative, innovative, and experienced faculty.
Managing the day to day activities of the office
Overseeing and maintaining Senior Systems database
Preparation and maintenance all application files
Overseeing all office mailings and correspondence
Coordinating the student visit “shadow day” program
Providing administrative support to the department
Participating in all office recruitment events as needed
Representing the office at outreach events, travel possible
Self-motivated, organized, and works well independently
High Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience with database is preferred, Senior Systems a plus
Comfort level and interest in using new technology
Have strong written and oral communication skills
A sense of humor
Excellent interpersonal skills with adolescents and adults
Interested and invested in Sacred Heart education
Must be able to drive and have a car.
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in an appropriate educational field is required
At least three years of experience in admissions preferred
Experience in sales and/or marketing preferred
Excellent interpersonal skills, communicating clearly in written and oral forms with a diversity of constituents; detail oriented and highly organized
Support, implement, and model the Goals and Criteria for Sacred Heart Schools
Uphold professional standards of personal presentation, discretion, punctuality, and clear, direct, open communication
Understanding of adolescents and single gender education
Passion for selling the value of an all-girls high school experience
When appropriate, engage in the life of the school (presence at assemblies, meeting, events, etc.)
A commitment to cultural diversity and ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds
A willingness to be an active, enthusiastic member of the Woodlands community
· Upon employment: completion of Virtus: Protecting God’s Children training and successful completion of criminal offender record information and sexual offender registry information checks.
