This position provides related administrative support to the Director Sales and/or staff.
Coordinating activities and initiatives that support the FedEx Sales team towards excellence in back office administration & reporting.
Maintaining the Manager's business appointment schedule.
Scheduling meetings and assisting with meeting preparation.
Maintaining personnel and customer files.
Coordinating travel arrangements.
Compiling data and preparing reports.
Composing and distributing correspondence.
Coordinating team and training events.
Skills/Knowledge Considered a Plus
Outstanding MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Perform a variety of functions outlined by the Sales Manager from balancing the budget to manipulating sales data in a fast paced sales environment.
Perform planning, directing, and organizing functions to assist the team, division, and other staff including clerical duties such as contract compliance.
Extensive excel knowledge including pivot tables, macros, formulas, graphs and V-Lookups.
Domicile: Chicagoland metro and surrounding area.

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma/GED. Requires six (6) years related business experience including four (4) years as an administrative assistant typing proficiency. PC experience and ability to use Microsoft Office software. CPS or one (1) year of related college courses required. Good spelling, punctuation and basic English grammar skills. Ability to operate standard office equipment. Ability to compose correspondence for manager's signature. Ability to prioritize mail and telephone calls for manager's review and/or action. Good human relations skills.
