Primary job Functions:
Individual will be working in a recently established operational excellence workstream of Abbott Nutrition Supply Chain, and responsible for mapping business processes for key planning and control areas of supply chain (i.e. MRP, planning, scheduling, S&OP, supply chain KPIs, etc). Working with key stakeholders to map out “as is” state and creating “future state”. Individual will be a divisional resource and provide guidance and leadership for Abbott Nutrition (AN) supply chain business processes worldwide, a cross 14 manufacturing plants.
Core Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional policies and procedures.
Responsible for Abbott Nutrition supply chain business process creation, optimization and standardization across the division, predominantly in the MRP area. Assist in the development and implementation of core business planning processes for supply planning, inventory management, replenishment planning, scheduling and S&OP planning and leading in the development and implementation of core MRP business processes. Responsible for benchmarking industry and other Abbott divisions regularly to provide paths to process simplification and CIP opportunities. Manage the coordination and integration of software systems and tools to facilitate divisional reporting and planning activates. This includes identification, development and implementation of systems and tool selection and deployment working with IT, quality and operations on a global platform. Manage, maintain and develop positive relationships with Abbott Nutrition site supply chain personnel, division leaders, operations, quality and finance to positively influence decision making and improve performance. Be proactive and direct in communication opportunities, issues and critical matters, ensuring that management and senior staff are current on all critical matters, with a focus on resolution alternatives, recommendations and implementation planning, costs and benefits.
