The Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) has helped to further the advancement and impact of women in the business of healthcare worldwide for 40 years and is on a tremendous growth trajectory. As the HBA moves forward with the 2020 bold strategic plan of making an impact on gender parity in the healthcare industry, the association is seeking an innovative director to further develop our brand’s global strategy and oversee implementation of integrated marketing, communications and digital media plans that exemplify our bold goals.
The ideal candidate is an experienced marketing professional with a proven record of developing creative multi-channeled approaches which will help to effectively build and fortify the HBA global brand, expand awareness among specific target audiences, and create opportunities to maximize financial return and value to the association and key stakeholders. The best qualified candidate can achieve results-driven outcomes by effective collaboration with a diverse group of staff and volunteers leveraging cross-organizational, integrated marketing strategies.
This role reports to the Vice President, Global Services.
The candidate should currently have a strong and established digital professional brand, proven advanced project management skills, highly proficient written communication skills (samples requested – articles, publications, blogs, marketing plans), ability to confidently speak globally on behalf of the HBA as needed, demonstrated success in public relations agency facilitation, and the ability to work independently yet concurrently with a number of volunteers, staff, vendors and customers. The ideal candidate will have a degree in marketing or a related field.
The HBA staff works 100% virtually in a high performing, matrixed team environment. The team is committed to delivering results and finds creative ways to make the work environment engaging, collaborative and fun. Position includes direct management responsibilities for staff with expectations that this role will help further develop high potential marketing talent.
